Jewellery from sweet wrappers and cellophane

Jewellery from sweet wrappers and cellophane

Week 4 - Sweet wrappers

This is the theme for next week.  So the homework from week 3 is to eat sweets - in particular Ferrero Rocher and Quality Street!  All of the images below are made from the foil of these two.  If you can't get those, tin foil is fine, the jewellery will just be silver.  I used:

Wood glue or PVA to make the jewellery strong - so you might need an adult to help.

Cocktail sticks, ruler, a pair of scissors, solid round things of various sizes (like allen key or screwdriver set - this helps shape the jewellery).

Or you can try your hand at a fairy banqueting table!

Sophie's  (aged 9) work drying in the sun

Wow that was quick Sophie! Can't wait to see how they look when they've dried clear and are cut out.

Owl made from Ferrero Rocher (FR)

Spider and pendant (incl chain) from FR

Penguin and Flamingo made from tin foil and cellophane

Heart and ring made from FR wrappers
